About
Three decades in the store. With the battle scars to prove it.

I write on acquisition and the operating work that decides whether a store compounds or leaks. I speak when the room needs operator language — not vendor language.

I spent three decades inside automotive retail — most of it as a General Manager across publicly traded, privately held, import, domestic, and luxury stores in Ohio and Florida, most recently as a GM in Naples. The operating work was appraisal discipline on the service drive, used-car sourcing that did not default to auction, and the daily reps that turn a lot into something customers come back to — the floor I write from, not a keynote version of it.
